Refunds and cancellations
Last updated September 27, 2026
This page says when you get money back, how much, and how long it takes. The returns and exchanges policy covers what happens to the item itself.
When you can cancel
Before production begins. Cancel from your order page and you are refunded in full — goods, shipping and tax — to the card you paid with. You do not need a reason and you do not need to ask us.
The window is real but short: production starts once your payment clears, usually within one business day. While it is open, your order page shows a "Cancel this order" button and the status reads Received.
After production begins. The sale is final. See the returns and exchanges policy for the defect, damage and wrong-item exceptions, which are not affected by this.
When we cancel
If we cannot fill your order — an item is discontinued, a price was listed in error, or we cannot ship to your address — we cancel it, tell you why, and refund you in full. This can happen after production has begun; you are refunded either way.
What a refund includes
A full refund is the entire amount charged to your card: the goods, the shipping, and the tax Stripe collected on both. A partial refund, which we issue when part of an order is at fault, covers those items and their share of the shipping and tax.
We do not deduct restocking or handling fees. There are none.
How long it takes
We issue the refund immediately when we cancel or approve a claim, and you get an email confirming the amount and the card. Stripe returns it to your bank in 5 to 10 business days; the exact timing is your bank's, not ours.
The refund appears on your order page as soon as it is issued, under the totals, so you can see it before your statement does.
Where the money goes
Back to the card you paid with, in Canadian dollars. Card refunds cannot be redirected to a different card or paid another way — that is a rule of the card networks, not ours. If the card has expired or been closed, your bank will normally still route the money to your account; if it does not, your bank can tell you what to do.
If a refund does not arrive
Check your order page first: it shows the amount refunded and the date. If more than ten business days have passed since then, write to orders@alphamarketingintl.com with your order number and we will send you Stripe's confirmation of the refund, which your bank can trace.
Your rights
Ontario's Consumer Protection Act, 2002 gives you the right to cancel an internet agreement within specified periods if the seller did not disclose the required information before you accepted, or did not deliver within thirty days of the promised date. In either case you are entitled to a refund within fifteen days of giving us notice. Nothing on this page limits that.
